Edith H. Nicholson, 74, of the 100 block of E. Tyler Crescent, a retired supervisor, died Jan. 30, 1995, in his residence.
Mrs. Nicholson retired from the Retail Merchants Credit Association and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Coffin of Litchfield Park, Ariz.; a sister, Ruth Meade of Franklin, Va.; two brothers, Vernon Howard of Appomattox, Va., and Lacy Howard of Franklin, Va.; three grandchildren, B.L. Hardison IV, Jennifer Norman and Greg Coffin; and two great-grandsons, Nicholas and A.J. Norman.
A funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by Dr. Ector Hamrick. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today in the funeral home.
