Marie Therese Cortes, 87, of the 1200 block of Magnolia Ave., a homemaker, died Jan. 31, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Cortes was born in Algiers, Algeria. She was a member of Larchmont Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Jose Cortes; a daughter, Jocelyne Ramey of Norfolk; a sister, Elise Courreges of Tarbes, France; a brother, Oscar Nadal of Bron, France; three grandchildren, Florence Geracie of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Arleen Womack of Chesapeake and Lynn Jones of Colonial Heights, Va.; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. John Dean. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
