300 block of Effingham St. - 26-year-old man slashed on hand with knife about 11 a.m. Jan. 24. Victim treated at Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

800 block of Pacific Ave. - 41-year-old man charged with possession of explosive device and possession of cocaine about 7 a.m. Jan. 20.
