LTJG Wilbur E. Teeters USN Ret., 81, of the 5400 block of Princess Anne Road died Feb. 2, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
He was born in Fort Wayne, Ind. He retired from the U.S. Navy, a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam, and also retired from Naval Base, Norfolk as a planner and estimator.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ruby M. Teeters; and three sisters, Helen Griffith and Phyllis Kissel, both of Ormand Beach, Fla., and Alice Seavey of Gig Harbor, Wash.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. The body will be sent from Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, to Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Ind., for funeral service and entombment. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
