Flava E. Mullis, 91, died Feb. 1, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Mullis was born in Indiana and resided there until eight years ago when she moved to Virginia Beach. She was a retired former schoolteacher in Indiana and the widow of Theodore Mullis.
Survivors include a daughter, Helen Bennett of Virginia Beach; a grandson, Michael Bennett of San Diego, Calif.; and three nieces.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Stilesville Cemetery, Stilesville, Ind. Memorial donations may be made to Plaza Rescue Squad, 3608 S. Plaza Trail, Virginia Beach, Va., or the S.P.C.A. of one's choice. The body will be sent from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, to Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, Ind., for services.
