GRACE M. COE

Grace Margaret Coe, 84, formerly of Snug Harbor, died Thursday evening, Feb. 2, 1995, in Brian Care Center.

A native of Charlestown, Mass., she formerly lived in Panama for 42 years. She was the daughter of the late James Edward Bateman and Grace R. Davis Bateman and the widow of Edmund Samuel Coe who was a native of Grand Cayman, British West Indies.

Mrs. Coe was a Seventh Day Adventist; a member of the American Legion Auxillary; Past President of VFW Post (NU)3822 Women's Aux.; served in the Women's Aux. Signal Platoon of the Army during World War II and was a former Girl Scout leader.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret L. Morrow of Snug Harbor; a son, Edmund Stanley Coe of Vancouver, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and more than 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Sunday at 3:30 in Swindell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jon Strother officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to Cancer Research.
