Mrs. Opal Stringfield Jennings, 86, of Surry, died Friday. She was a retired home demonstrations agent and widow of John A. Jennings. A graveside funeral service will be held in The Confederate Cemetery of Spotsylvania County at 11:00 a.m. Tues. Feb. 7. Friends may join the procession from Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
