Marguerite Williams Eldredge, 78, of the 1800 block of Camelot Drive, died Feb. 3, 1995, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Eldredge was born in Masury, Ohio. She was a retired co-owner of P.J. Eldredge Company and a licensed electrician, attended Baptist churches throughout the area and was a member of the Smile Club. She was a welder during World War II, welding submarines and was the first licensed female electrician in the state of Virginia. She was the widow of Pemberton Janney Eldredge, Jr.
Survivors include three sisters, Winona Karr of Kinsman, Ohio, Ida Elliott of Dover Plains, N.Y., and Olive Hersey of Birmingham, Ala.; a half brother, Winfield Redner of Florida; a stepson, Robert Eldredge of Chesapeake; a niece, Barbara Ford of Virginia Beach; and several nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Dr. Danny L. Owens. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to one's favorite charity. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
