George ``Heavy'' Frank Dunman, 73, of the 500 block of Austin St., a retired stone cutter, died Feb. 3, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Dunman was born in Greensboro, N.C. He retired from Snow, Jr. and King, was a member of Brentwood Baptist Church, Norfolk, and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Doris E. Dunman; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert F. Sr. and Barbara Dunman of Roxboro, N.C.; a son, Steven T. Dunman of Alexandria, Va.; a granddaughter, Lisa Reynolds of Hawaii; two grandsons, Robert F. Dunman, Jr. and Steven G. Dunman of Roxboro, N.C.; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. John D. Sykes, Sr. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. today and other times at the residence.
