John Thieme LeGault Sr., 78, of the 8800 block of Stratford St., died Feb. 3, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. LeGault was born in Augusta, Maine. He was a retired engineer with the U.S. government at Little Creek Amphibious Base after 40 years, a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Norfolk, and the widower of Elizabeth Butt LeGault.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, The Rev. and Mrs. John T. LeGault Jr. of Danville, Va., and Carl Douglas LeGault of Charlottesville, Va.; a sister, Anna L. Ritter of Virginia Beach; and grandchildren, Evan Heath LeGault and Anna Elizabeth LeGault.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charles Blalock and the Rev. Bob Eason. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will be at the residence.
