While I often disagree with editorials in your newspaper, I say three loud cheers for ``Work no longer required'' (editorial, Jan. 24).
You are absolutely right when you write, ``It is time to discourage the entitlement mentality that has persuaded too many Americans that the government owes them a living, housing, food, health care and anything else they fancy.''
Say it again - and again! Perhaps it will penetrate the minds of state and federal legislators who are all too ready to ``back down'' when facing people like Baltimore's public-housing resident Anna Warren!
