Paul Barone Jr., 64, of the 800 block of Rivanna River Reach, died Feb. 5, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Barone was born in Meshoppen, Pa. He had retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years and had also retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a boilermaker. He was a member of Fleet Reserve Association Branch 40.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara ``Bobby'' Barone of Chesapeake; three sons, Donald T. Barone of Jarratt, Va., Gerald R. Barone and Michael W. Barone, both of Chesapeake; four sisters; one brother; and two grandchildren, Bridget Barone and Michael Barone Jr., both of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
