Collis O. Lewis, 87, died Feb. 4, 1995, in his residence in Chesapeake.
Mr. Lewis was born in Beaufort County, N.C. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline L. Lewis; a stepdaughter, Ann Von Pertz of Topeka, Kan.; three stepsons, Earnest E. Shipp of Virginia Beach, Harold Gene Shipp of Portsmouth and Herbert L. Shipp of Suffolk; one grandson, Collis O. Lewis III of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Pastor Dave Libengood. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
