Janith Carol Lineberry, age 51, of the 7900 block of Westcliff, Norfolk, died Feb. 5, 1995, in DePaul Medical Center.
Ms. Lineberry was born in Greensboro, May 11, 1943, and was daughter of the late William Horace Lineberry Jr. and Maudie Irene Jordan Lineberry. Ms. Lineberry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Norfolk and was employed as admitting clerk in the E.R. of Chesapeake General Hospital.
She is survived by one sister, Debra Lyons of Hampton; one brother, John H. Lineberry of Chesapeake; three nieces, Holly Lineberry, Melissa Lineberry and Kristen Lineberry, all of Chesapeake; two nephews, Kenneth D. Lyons of Newport News and Tommy Lyons of Chesapeake; one great-niece, Hannah Paige Lyons of Newport News; and a special uncle, George Lineberry of Virginia Beach. She was also survived by a host of other relatives and loving friends and co-workers.
Graveside services will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995, at 1 p.m. with Randall Childress officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge. At other times they will be at the residence of the brother on Hanbury Road, Chesapeake. Memorial donations may be made to the American Respiratory Foundation, Norfolk Chapter.
