He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late George T. and Bertha L. Forrest.
Survivors include son, Melvin Dunston; daughter, Mrs. Kym Majors; brothers, George T. Forrest, Jr., James M. Forrest; sisters, Laura L. Davis, Carolyn L. Miller, Angela F. Myers; nieces, Tambra Forrest, Shaundra Miller; cousin, Juanita Santiful.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2 o'clock at Graves Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Daniel Dowdy.
The interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 1:45 Thursday.
