Ralph Edwin Michael, 82, of the 100 block of Sandpiper Dr., died Feb. 4, 1995, in hospital.
Mr. Michael, a native of Kansas, was retired from the U.S. Navy as a Machinist Mate First Class and had also worked for the Portsmouth School System.
Survivors include his wife, June R. Michael; a daughter, Sharon Miller, both of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mary Ellen Benson of Houston, Texas, Esther Buntrock of Spokane, Wash.; two brothers, Donald Michael of Hutchinson, Kan., and Lawrence Michael of Silverton, Ore.
A graveside funeral with Military Honors will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hampton National Cemetery. Foster Funeral Home is in charge. Friends may join the family at his home.
