Curtis Eugene Hollowell, 94, of Rt. 1, died Feb. 7, 1995, in his home.
He was born in Gates County and was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was also a member and deacon of Hobbsville Baptist Church. He was the husband of the late Ozeal Bunch Hollowell.
Survivors include one son, Joseph Eugene Hollowell Sr. of Hobbsville; one sister, Jennie H. Moore of Hobbsville; and two grandsons, Gene and Jason Hollowell.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Hobbsville Baptist Church by Dr. Terry Jones. Burial will follow in the Bunch Family Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, handling the arrangements. Friends may join the family at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Hobbsville Baptist Church.
