Sam Owen Stone III, 44, died Feb. 4, 1995, in his home.
He was a native of Richmond County, Ga., and was a truck driver.
Survivors include his mother, Margaret J. Stone; his father, Sam Owen Stone Jr.; a son, Justin Owen Stone; a sister, Frances S. Breazeales; and a brother, B. Marion Brake.
The family will receive friends at Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Isle of Wight Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 97, Smithfield, Va., 23431.
