Eddie Russell, 78, of the 1600 block of Hunter St., died Feb. 5, 1995.
He was a native of Norlina, N.C. and was a retired electro-plater of the Naval Air Rework Facility after 40 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist church.
Survivors include three sons, Edward Russell, Clinton Russell of Norfolk, and Clifton Russell of Chesapeake; one brother, Sam Russell of Mason, N.C.; and two sisters, Lillie Russell-Vaughan and Mary Lee Bullock, both of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 pm. Friday in Mt. Olive Baptist Church by the Rev. John Davis. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery.
