Denis James McNicholl, 85, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, died Monday, February 6, 1995 in Virginia Beach General Hospital. He was the husband of Bertha Howard McNicholl.
He was born February 28, 1909 in Ireland.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He was a member of V.F.W.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dennis McNicholl of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and James McNicholl of Jupiter, Florida; one daughter, Eileen Quick of Lynchburg, Virginia; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel by the Rev. Kevin J. O'Brien. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park with military honors by American Legion Post 16.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-8:30 pm at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel, 9918 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, Virginia. (804)237-2722.
