Maude Rebecca Dowdy, 92, formerly of the 800 block of Wilbur Ave., died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995 in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Dowdy was born in South Norfolk. She was a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church and was the widow of Leo Butler Dowdy.
Survivors include five nieces and one nephew.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Willis Dowling. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
