Edith May Harrington of the 3200 block of Lilac Drive, died Feb. 9, 1995.
Mrs. Harrington, a native of Endicott, N.Y., was the widow of Ernest L. Harrington. She was retired from the IBM Corp. after 25 years of service, and was a member of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, Endicott.
Survivors include her daughter, Bernice H. Allen, and son-in-law, Edward C. Allen Jr., both of Portsmouth; a sister, Bessie Gridley of Auburn, N.Y.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. R. Beverly Watkins. Friends may join the family today from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Endowment Fund of Monumental United Methodist Church.
