Edward H. McGee, 71, of the 2900 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., a retired sales representative, died Feb. 7, 1995, in DePaul Medical Center.
Mr. McGee was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and retired two years ago from New York Carpet World after seven and one-half years. He was a member of First Baptist Church Lamberts Point in Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy V. McGee; two daughters, Phyllis Moore of Norfolk and Tina McGee of Ohio; a son, Edward McGee Jr. of Norfolk; a brother, William ``Bill'' McGee; three grandchildren, Damon McGee of New Jersey, Eric Ingram of New York and Ashley Moore of Norfolk; two sons-in-law, Jesse J. Moore Jr. and Michael J. Murray, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and a host of relatives, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home, Portsmouth, by Dr. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 2913 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, at 12:15 p.m. Monday for the processional to the chapel. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
