Annie C. Jones, 87, of the 3500 block of Essex Circle, a homemaker, died Feb. 9, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Jones was born in Princess Anne County, Va., and was the widow of Alton L. Jones. She was a member of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church, the Fidelis Bible Class, Norview Chapter (NU)131 Order of the Eastern Star, NABA, Sons & Daughters of Liberty and Rebekah Lodge (NU)13.
Survivors include a daughter, Doris J. McLin of Norfolk; a son, Raymond L. Jones of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Myrtle Mexiner of California and Phoebe Allen of Stafford, Va.; two brothers, William Taylor of South Norfolk and Norman Taylor of Farmville, Va.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2p.m. Sunday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Dr. Paul C. Lawson. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at her residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
