John Joseph Sharkey, 34, of the 500 block of Lanier Crescent, died Feb. 9, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Sharkey was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a theater manager and attended St. Paul's Catholic Church in Portsmouth.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Tankersley of Cincinnati; his mother and father, Dorothy Sauter Sharkey and Joseph Sharkey, both of Cincinnati; two brothers, Dennis Sharkey of Cincinnati and Mike and his wife, Lana Sharkey of Philadelphia; his paternal grandmother, Edna Sharkey of Indianapolis, Ind.; and many loving and caring friends.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel.
