A pay phone hangs where it was dropped Friday by a man who was
fatally shot outside a 7-Eleven in the 4000 block of Hampton Blvd.
in Norfolk. Kevin Gallogos, a delivery driver, was shot about 3:20
p.m. by a lone gunman who had apparently tried to rob him, police
said. He died shortly after at a hospital. The gunman was described
as black, 6 feet tall and wearing black pants and a green, hooded
jacket. He was last seen running east on 40th Street. Anyone with
information is asked to call 441-5100.
