The late Dan K. Moore, a former governor of North Carolina, said 10 years ago that he would have vetoed a bill to create the medical school at East Carolina University. The quote was published earlier this week. A story in Friday's Virginian-Pilot indicated incorrectly that Mr. Moore made the comment a few days ago. by CNB
