Mr. Thomas Calvin Boothe, age 70, of Bassett, Va., died Thursday at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. Mr. Boothe was born in Patrick County to Ocie S. Boothe and the late Tom Boothe. He was a veteran of WWII and retired from the U.S. Navy with over 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Odessa Watkins Boothe of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Craig (Amy) Cook of Richmond, Va.; one son, Mike Boothe of Norfolk, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Walker of Stuart, Va., Mrs. Ethel Nolen of Stuart, Va., and Mrs. Mary Massey of Martinsville, Va.; and his Mother, Mrs. Ocie S. Boothe of Stuart, Va.
Funeral services for Thomas C. Boothe will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart. Interment will follow in the Boothe Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 Monday night at Moody Funeral Home.
