Mrs. Nancy Fletcher Batten Wishart, age 92, died Friday, February 10, 1995, at Riverside Convalescent Center, Smithfield. She was the widow of Frank T. Wishart. Mrs. Wishart, a native of Isle of Wight County, was born and raised at the family home ``Boykins Tavern.'' She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Smithfield, its United Methodist Women, Pansy Johnson Circle and Ladies Bible Class. She was a former District President of the Women's Society of Christian Service, Portsmouth District, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and served as its Registrar for a number of years; the United Daughters of the Confederacy and its Real Granddaughters Club.
Survivors include: three grandchildren: Margaret Landgon, Frank Landgon, Clifton Landgon; one niece, one nephew and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 13, 1995, in Trinity United Methodist Church, Smithfield with Rev. Jay Ashby and Rev. Robert F. Cofield, Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in Old St. Luke's Cemetery, Smithfield.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 12, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 201 Cedar Street, Smithfield, Va. 23430 or Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 97, Smithfield, Va. 23430, or a favorite charity.
