Esther Charlotte Powell, 80 years, of Norfolk, a homemaker, died Feb. 10, 1995, in Sentara Nursing Center, Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Powell was born in Fall City, Neb. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Norfolk, and was the widow of Basil Wakefield Powell.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol P. Warburton of Norfolk and son-in-law Thomas R. Warburton Jr.; and two grandchildren, Thomas R. Warburton IV and Tiffany M. Warburton, both of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. David LaSalle. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to Canterbury Center, Old Dominion University.
