Mary Davis Marks, 99, of the 2200 block of Keller Ave., a retired clerk and cashier, died Feb. 10, 1995, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Marks was born in Norfolk County. She retired from Norfolk and Western Railroad after 17 years, was the widow of Clarence C. Marks, former president of the Lake Terrace Garden Club and was a Presbyterian.
Survivors include two nieces, Mary Ellen Steadman of Norfolk and Barbara LaRosa of Los Angeles, Calif.; one nephew, W.E. Garrett Jr. of Norfolk; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park by Judge Hal J. Bonney Jr. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends at the residence of Mary Ellen Steadman.
