Elsie R. Sanderlin, 82, of the 200 block of Chautauqua Ave., a homemaker, died Feb. 10, 1995 in a Portsmouth hospital.
She was a native of Southampton County and was the widow of Linwood Sanderlin. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Marie S. Allen, and son-in-law, Willard, of Portsmouth; one son, James L. Sanderlin of Richmond; one sister, Audrey Thompson of Portsmouth; and four grandchildren, Eleanor S. Allen of Portsmouth, Meredith W. Sanderlin, Elaine C. Sanderlin and Barry Sanderlin, all of Richmond.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Broad Street United Methodist Church by the Rev. Kathryn Pigg and the Rev. Milford C. Rollins. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Snellings Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. The family will be at 215 Williamson Road, Portsmouth.
