FERDINAND B. HARRINGTON

Ferdinand Baldwin Harrington, ``Hunky,'' of 3100 Shore Dr., Va. Beach, Va., died Feb. 11, 1995 at his home. He was born in Norfolk in 1906 to Ferdinand Finney and Anna Baldwin Harrington. Mr. Harrington was a graduate of Maury High School and Virginia Military Institute, was co-owner and founder of Eastern Electric Corp. in Norfolk, a member of Good Shepard Episcopal Church of Norfolk. He served on active duty during W.W.II and achieved the rank of Lt. Colonel, was in the Army Reserve after release from active duty, a member of the Class of 1928 V.M.I. Actities, the Pyramid Club, Norfolk Sports Club, the Optimist Club and German Club.

He is survived by his widow Virginia Stone Harrington; two children, Dr. F. Baldwin Harrington of Fredericksburg, Va. and Mrs Ingolf Norman Kiland, Jr. of Va. Beach, Va.; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. His body has been donated to science. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
