VIRGINIA THOMPSON LEIGH

Virginia Thompson Leigh, 81, of the 900 Block of Graydon Ave., died Feb. 10, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Leigh was a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She was the widow of H. Gilbert Leigh. She was a member of Christ and St. Luke's and St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Norfolk. She retired in 1987 with over 30 years of interior designing for the York House in Norfolk. She was the color girl of the class of 1933 for the Naval Academy.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Leigh Refo of Richmond, Va.; a brother, Raymond W. Thompson of Bethesda, Maryland; and 2 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church by Rev. Charles A. Joy. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 1004 Graydon Ave. in Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
