Sarah E. Meadows, of the 4900 block of Clover St., a homemaker, died Feb. 11, 1995, in Sentara Leigh Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Meadows was born in Hickory, N.C. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Albert L. Meadows; a daughter, Naomi Lee Irvin of Germantown, Md.; a son, John L. Meadows of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Howard Pierce of Roanoke and Roy Pierce of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall/Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Ernest Roebuck. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
