J. PHILLIPS BERKELEY

James Phillips Berkeley, Lt. General, U.S. Marine Corps (Retired), 87, died Monday, Feb. 13, 1995, after a long illness.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Lawrence Berkeley; a brother, Randolph Carter Berkeley Jr., U.S. Marine Corps (Retired) of Falls Church, Va; two nephews and a niece.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
