William Earl Smith Jr., 62, a retired self-employed waterman, died Feb. 12, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
He was a native of Princess Anne County and was an area resident all his life. He was a member of Lynnhaven United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Marie Smith; two daughters, Lisa Marie Smith of Virginia Beach and Deborah Lynn Nickells of Oklahoma; five sons, William Earl Smith III, James Edward, John Erie, Garry Andrew and Larry Christopher Smith, all of Virginia Beach; his father, William E. Smith Sr. of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Littie Harris of Chesapeake, Nancy Gallagher and Shelby Wysocki of Virginia Beach; and nine grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by Chaplain J.T. Higgins. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
