Carolyn Edith Brightman, 83, formerly of Red Oak Road, died Feb. 13, 1995, in Orlando, Fla.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and was the widow of Frederick Brightman.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn B. Morales of Chuluoth, Fla.; two sisters, Ada Hatcher of Long Beach, Calif., and Mary Ann Bunch of Norfolk; two brothers, Harry Mitchell and Walt Mitchell, both of Chesapeake; one granddaughter, Bonnie Heather Morales; one grandson, Jefferson Lea Mills; and one great-grandson, Jonathan Lea Mills.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Hampton National Cemetery, by the Rev. Ernest Trueblood. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is handling the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA or Lynnhaven United Methodist Church.
