LEON LASTING

Leon ``Hank'' Lasting, 89, of the 5200 block of Peake Lane, died Wednesday, February 15th, 1995.

Mr. Lasting, a native of Portsmouth, was a part owner of S. Lasting and Brother Furniture Co., Portsmouth, which closed in 1974.

He was a member of Temple Sinai, and had served as president of Bide-A-Wee Golf Club for 25 years. He was a sixty-Year Mason and a member of Portsmouth Naval Lodge 100.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Esleeck Lasting; a son, Richard P. Lasting of Los Angeles, Ca.; a sister, Flossie Lasting Rosen of Portsmouth, and 2 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Foster Funeral Home by Rabbi Arthur Z. Steinberg. Burial to follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
