Ola Lee Edwards, 81, of the 1300 block of Benefit Road, died Tuesday, February 14, 1995, in her residence. A native of Hertford, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Cleveland and Mrs. Viola Stallings Ferrell and widow of James Rayfield Edwards.
Mrs. Edwards was retired from Stuckey's in Suffolk and was a member of the Good Hope United Methodist Church in Chesapeake.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Conley Ray (Chuck) and Joyce M. Edwards of Chesapeake; two step grandchildren, Shelia Furman of Chesapeake and Joey Jones of Farmville, Va., and a sister, Hazel F. Berry of Chesapeake.
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 17, 1995, at 2 P.M. in Good Hope United Methodist Church by Rev. Michael D. Copeland. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 until 9 P.M. in the Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge and at other times at 1321 Benefit Road.
