Harry Andrew Opauski, 58, of the 12000 block of Windsor Blvd., died Feb. 14, 1995, in a Suffolk hospital.
He was a native of Matewan, W.Va., and was the widow of Jacqueline B. Opauski. He was a self-employed contractor and was retired from the Portsmouth Fire Department.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Gregory Opauski and daughter-in-law, Kim, of Suffolk; and Matthew Vann Opauski of Ivor, Va.; two brothers, John David Opauski of Manahawkin, N.J., and Michael E. Opauski of Charleston, S.C.; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael Jr., and Matthew Jr.; and two aunts, Glenna Whitten and Mamie Sturdevant.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Nelson Fields. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
