Helen L. Turner of the 900 block of E. Princess Anne Road, a homemaker, died Feb. 13, 1995, in Norfolk Health Care Center.
She was born and educated in Suffolk and was the daughter of the late Perline Mazelle Turner and Ashley Turner. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church, Norfolk.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Helen Santiago, and is survived by a son-in-law, Francisco Santiago Jr. of Norfolk; a sister, Ely Turner of New York City; two brothers, John Turner and Joseph Turner, both of Suffolk; two grandsons, Francisco Christian Santiago and Roberto Nathaniel, both of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Metropolitan Funeral Service by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. Burial will be in Mizelle's Family Cemetery, Suffolk. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday for the funeral processional.
