FUNDS DISTRIBUTED

The Knights of Columbus of Edenton will disburse about $3,000 among a number of local service agencies at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the St. Anne Catholic Church on Broad Street.

Organizations receiving funds will be the Albemarle Recreation Center for Mentally Retarded, Special Olympics-Exceptional Children-Edenton, Exceptional Children Class-Hertford Grammar School, Special Olympics Perquimans County, Albemarle Mental Health Center, Special Olympics Martin County and Martin Enterprises for Retarded Citizens.
