Frederick William Heard, 69, died February 17, 1995, in the Palliative Care Unit at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, VA.
He was a retired painting contractor and a native of Norfolk, VA.
Mr. Heard is survived by his fiancee Eloise Gallup, his former wife Ethelyn Cook Heard, 2 daughters, Jessie Heard and Sarah Tallent; 3 sons, Eric, George, and Rick Heard; 3 sisters, Elizabeth Goldblatt, Charlotte Buckwalter, Helen Louise Buckwalter; 2 brothers, Homer and Albert Heard; and 12 grandchildren.
Family and friends will hold a private memorial service at the family home on February 25, 1995 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the V.A. Hospital, Palliative Care Unit Bldg. 114, Hampton, VA. 23667. Colonial Crematorium is handling the arrangements.
