Earl S. Vick, 79, of Franklin, died Feb. 17, in the East Pavilion at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
He was a World War II veteran. He retired from St. Regis Paper Company in 1974.
He is survived by four sons, William E. Vick of Franklin, Bobby R. Vick of Carrsville, Steve C. Vick of Zuni and Keith S. Vick of Carrsville; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Cullie M. Vick and L.C. Vick of Franklin; three sisters, Vassie V. Pope of Carrsville, Florence Ferguson of Portsmouth and Alese Heath of Portsmouth. He is predeceased by his brother, Lloyd ``Buddy'' Vick of Hampton, and a sister, Elizabeth Felts of Southampton County.
At his request, his body will be donated to science. There will be a memorial service Sunday at the East Pavilion at 2:30. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
