Edward Berman, 78, died Feb. 17, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Berman was born in Newark, N.J. He retired from Princeton University and was a member of the Senior Square Swingers.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Berman; a daughter and son-in-law, Harlene Shah and Ashok Shah of Strongsville, Ohio; two stepsons, W. Jeffrey Wood of Hightstown, N.J., and Robert L. Wood IV of Hamilton Square, N.J. two sisters, Eve Gudis of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Frances Mehlman of Coconut Creek, Fla.; and grandchildren, Aneil Shah of Michigan and Ami Shah of Strongsville, Ohio.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by Dr. Kelly J. Burris and the Rev. James Bennett. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
