ROBERT E. MILLER

Robert E. Miller, 69, of the 5400 block of Mount Jackson Court, died Feb. 17, 1995, in his residence.

Mr. Miller was born in Pennsylvania and was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Norfolk. He retired from the Navy after 22 years and was a civil service employee for 13 years. He was a member of Fleet Reserve Association Branch 60, a member of Masonic Lodge (NU)230 in Philadelphia, and a member of U.S. Submarine Veterans of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Miller; a daughter, Patricia M. Creekmore and a son, Michael A. Miller, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Evelyn Baleshta and two brothers, Albert Miller and Ray Miller, all of Easton, Pa.; and three grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Sidney K. Nelson. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the Rev. Dr. Laurie L. Byrd, of the Tidewater chapter of U.S. Submarine Veterans II, will conduct a submarine memorial service at 7 p.m.
