A 1-year-old boy suffered extensive burns to his left leg Friday when a fire of undetermined cause broke out in his home.
Maurice Forman of the 300 block of Briggs St. was in stable condition Saturday night after being transferred to the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
The blaze in the single-family home was reported at 8:16 p.m. Fire trucks remained on the scene until early Saturday.
