Gertrude nee Braverman Rabinowitz, 96, formerly of New York, died Friday, Feb. 17, 1995, (17 Adari 5755) in Beth Shalom Home of Eastern Virginia.
She is the widow of Joseph Rabinowitz. She was a lifelong member of B'Nai B'rith and Hadasah.
She is survived by two sisters and two brothers; her grandson, Robert Katz of Virginia Beach; and two great-grandchildren, Neal Katz of Fairfax, Va., and Robin Anne Katz of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m. in Mt. Ararat Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York by Rabbi Stanley Burnstein. Memorial contributions may be made to Beth Shalom Home, 6401 Auburn Drive, Virginia Beach, Va. Altmeyer Funeral Home in handling the arrangements.
