ERMYNTRUDE N. LOFTIN

Ermyntrude N. ``Trudie'' Loftin, 50, of the 300 block of McLean St., a nurse, died Feb. 16, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center.

She was born in Kinston, N.C. She was a member of Guiding Light Apostolic Holiness Church, Portsmouth, and was president of the Youth Department and Choir Director.

Survivors include her husband, Henry D. Loftin Sr. of Portsmouth; a daughter, Tonya TeeLisa of Portsmouth; a son, Henry Deangelo Loftin Jr. of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Guiding Light Apostolic Holiness Church, Portsmouth, by Bishop W.F. Lamb, Elder A. Boulden, Pastor, and Bishop John Reid eulogizing. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements. Family and friends will assemble at 1105 Freedom Ave., Portsmouth, at 2:15 p.m. for the processional to the church. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
